Stargate Atlantis Episode "Vegas"

I finally finished watching all the SGAs, which I have never been a big fan of SGA...but then, almost last but not least was the 99th episode "Vegas". And it was truly a surprise from their norm!

In an alternate reality, a Wraith is making killing in Las Vegas and is under investigation by Detective John Sheppard...who knows nothing about life-sucking aliens from another galaxy.

The story (and the soundtrack) was great and I wish SG had more episodes like this one...it was like Stargate meets Sin City with a touch of the X-Files. Just imagine playing Poker with a Wraith while 'Sympathy For The Devil' is playing in the background...

If you haven't watched it yet, I highly recommend that you do!

Re: Stargate Atlantis Episode "Vegas"

It was certainly an episode which was very different from their norm. When it aired, I think many were kinda wondering WTF, as it was one of their final episides... but afterwards, I think many warmed to it like you did.

When I first watched the show at first it didn't make sence and at the end they killed Shepperd. I agree it was out of the norm but after you watch the next episode it made alot more sence.
