Season Premieres Start Tomorrow in Many Viewing Areas

Drat - Warehouse 13 Season Finale Part 2 is Tuesday evening (9 pm here in the DC area) & is up against the 2 hour season opener of NCIS Los Angeles. Fans of the original NCIS are safe from having to choose - Warehouse 13 rerun or the season premiere of NCIS at 8 pm. For Warehouse 13 - Sy Fy is running a marathon starting at 8 am.

Monday: Chuck is back on NBC at 8 pm followed by the new show The Event at 9 pm. 10 pm brings us Chase on NBC, Castle on ABC, the remake of Hawaii Five-0 on CBS. Monday remains Ghost Whisperer reruns for SyFy. Yes, I deliberately left out Fox as well as listings for CBS & ABC before 10 pm.

Tuesday: the rest of the evening isn't worth mentioning in my book.

I didn't find much of interest for Wednesday evening. Sorry folks - I'm not into Ghost Hunters & the other stuff that's running. I like the CSI/Law & Order shows but the scripts are getting stale - same old stuff just new characters to chase down.

Thursday: Fox has 2 shows out there Bones - the stories are getting a little stale but the characters are well written & the forensic anthropology/archeaology is interesting. CSI & The Mentalist start new seasons on CBS. CW is running new episodes of The Vampire Diary & Nikita (resurrected & refreshed from Hollywood's archives). Sy-Fy - best to check your local listings.

Friday: The networks are running a motley assortment of reruns & season premieres. Sy-Fy is running Predator followed by The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (it is kind of Sy-Fy) with a new episode of Haven at 10 pm.

At least for this Saturday, NBC is letting you catch up on The Event & Chase from earlier in the week. Local listings are the best way to know what other channels are running in your area. DC area is getting hit with sports, something called Crimetime Saturday & reruns.

Are you kidding me Tusedays at 8 is NCIS one of the best shows on TV followed at 9 by what we all hope will be a better second season of SGU.

Sounds like you haven't figured out the need for NCIS LA either. The shoes it has to fill are simply too big. At least SyFy isn't trying to go up against the original NCIS with new episodes of SGU starting next week.

Re: Season Premieres Start Tomorrow in Many Viewing Areas

NCIS was pretty good - hope we see more of Gibbs, Sr. He was kind of cool. I do like Heddy on NCIS, LA. Wish they'd script her over to the original. That would bring the best of both shows into one cast.

Warehouse 13 season finale was kind of a bummer. Please tell me they aren't going to let "Micah" resign. In some ways I liked HG - but it seemed like only Micah & Claudia got the drift that she hadn't yet resolved the grief over her daughter's death (well she got put in "stasis" for over 100 years so that didn't help).

Chuck was a little strange this week, but we'll see as the story for the season develops.

Hawaii Five-0 may be a remake but definitely has the feel of a whole new show building out of the elite team idea. Not your run of the mill cops & robbers, CSI or other police type show. The dynamic was a little rough in the first episode but looks like it may work.

NBC let Chase run on another channel in this area last night. OK but not too original. Event - didn't grab my interest.

Hope In Plain Sight comes back on USA (not the CBS USA). The dynamic among the primary characters keeps that interesting even though the story line may be a little bit on the same old, same old track.
