Re: Conan the Barbarian (2011)

I to was actually pleasently surprised when I watched the movie just some weeks ago. Sure, it wasn't a good movie but ok. Mamoa worked as Conan I think as he had a rather more lethal look compared to Arnolds rather vacant one. The final fight though, with the falling weel, was plain silly. Why the need to make the last fight over the top videogamish all the time?

Dont beat the original movie though.

Re: Conan the Barbarian (2011)

I finally got to see this movie on YouTube (I was told don't waste the money to rent it). The reviewers were right, it sucked. Ahhnold wasn't a great actor either, but he made that part work for him. All these remakes just shows for the most part Hollywood is running out of ideas.

Perhaps it is because I had no expectations what so ever, but I didn't find it all that bad. :?

See, I walk in with no expectations either. Still on the list of "To See's" though.

I just got to see this turkey on netflix. All I can say is that's two hours of my life I'll never get back.
