Marvels Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

We have finally managed to watch the first season of SHIELD and was positively surprised. I watched the first episode when it aired here in Sweden and was so underwhelmed that I did not bother to keep watching. Fortunately we got the DVDs cheap some time ago and watched it again. This time properly timed with watching Captain America Winter Soldier before episode 17. :)

This time around I liked the show a lot. The Thor and Cap' tie ins was entertaining and the show got really much better as it went along. And watching one of the earliest episodes, perhaps the second, when they visited Sweden and Belarus was extra fun. Especially as they only visited Sweden to film it and tried to pass of parts of Sweden as Belarus (probably a bit like trying to pass of a piece of Mexico as New England). It was even a short clip from Uppsala where I live.

What did you think of the show?

I have not yet seen this show, however it has just been put onto Netflix, so I'm sure I'll see it eventually.
Zathras, good to see you back. I thought you had gone MIA on us. How are things in the Lauderdale area?

Pretty good Merlin. I went up to New England for the holidays. (week in NY and a week in Mass). Bought a new car, 2015 Subaru Forester and now getting into the nitty gritty of dance competition season with my daughter...lol. Hope all is well with you

Happy new car Zathras, hope you had a great time up north. The weather up there is as it should be for the holidays, not sweating your tukas off hanging decoratons :D . Happy to hear that all is well with you and your daughter. Things here are same old same old. Have you heard from shifty latley? I sent him a message on FaceBook, but haven't heard back yet. I'm looking forward to seeing him again on his next trip to the states.

You are right Zathras, it did get a lot better towards the end, so now I must wait for the next season :(
