Combat Hospital

I'm planning on checking out "Combat Hospital" tonight. The ad caught my eye last week. Can you say "ER" in a combat zone, Afghanistan actually. It'll be on ABC at 10:00 pm EST.

Re: Combat Hospital

I realize that "Combat Hospital" isn't sci-fi, but it's a keeper in my book. I do tend to gravitate towards military related shows. Not over the top forced humor, military gear at every turn, doctors wearing side arms in the OR, snakes getting shot in the OR, spooks spiriting away Taliban patients, women in ACU/BDUs and relating to current events. Those are some things that I like about the show.

Did anybody else watch the show? If yes, I'd like to read your thoughts.

Re: Combat Hospital

I didn't get to watrch the show myself and had not heard of it before your post. I will have to try and look into it. I know that there are many here who enjoy the military themed shows... many of us still wish that The Unit was still in production...

I'll have to see if it's "on demand". The previews looked good but I forgot when it was coming on.

Re: Combat Hospital

I hadn't heard about the show until I caught 1 ad for it the other week and it just struck me as something to watch. I also wish that "The Unit" was still in production.

Re: Combat Hospital

I caught the last five minutes of an episode last might. It seem like this show is following in the footsteps of Mash and China Beach. I'll have to catch it when the new season starts.

Re: Combat Hospital

My wife and I have been watching the show since day 1 and are very happy with it. My buddy at work also watches it and we always chat about it the next day. I like how the show deals with some cultural issues that we as North Americans may not think of. Good stuff to watch.

Re: Combat Hospital

I wish that the show was getting more publicity, it seems like few even are aware of its existance, let alone when its on the air.

Re: Combat Hospital

A little bit of publicity would be nice. I haven't seen anything, so I have no idea when the next season is supposed to start. I'm really hoping that we'll get to see some more of it.

Re: Combat Hospital

ABC claims its on tuesdays at 10pm, Like most great Canadian shows the big US networks dont tend to pick them up or drop them real quick because they arnt the fast paced shows that they seem to like to push. Flashpoint would be another great Canadian show to check out if you get the chance.

Re: Combat Hospital

Thanks for the intel. Now is that the current timing, because I know that's when it was on last season. I'd hate to think that I've been missing episodes. again thanks.
