AUTHORIZED EXCERPTS AS FOLLOWS:
Ackerson joined the U.S. Navy in January of 2006. After completing ROTC at
Georgetown University Ackerson was stationed aboard the aircraft carrier
Seahawk which was later that year
destroyed by a terrorist attack. Before the
Seahawk was lost beneath the waves
Ackerson led the evacuation teams, upon learning the CAG had been injured
Ackerson ordered a flight deck team to get the CAG into one of the last
fighters on the deck and prep it for launch. After grabbing two helmets he
climbed into the fighter to fly the CAG to safety. Thanks to Ackerson's
quick thinking no hands were lost. A month after the loss of the
U.S.S. Seahawk Ackerson received
orders signed by the Secretary of the Navy to report to the Cheyenne
Mountain Complex for special assignment. Ackerson was sent by General Landry
to report for F-302 flight operations training. After completion of flight
training in mid 2008 Ackerson was assigned to the
U.S.S. Iliad. Duties are classified
at this time.
REAL LIFE ACTIVITIES:
Ackerson works in retail and is studying Administration of Justice with a
focus in Computer Forensics, and enjoys playing airsoft, costuming, and
hanging out with friends.
