AUTHORIZED EXCERPTS AS FOLLOWS:
 
Doran Kev enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1996 under the delayed enlistment program. In May of 1997 Doran left for basic training at Lackland Air Force base. After Basic Training Doran volunteered for the Pararescue or PJ’s he completed the following:
  • Indoctrination Course, at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas.
  • U.S. Army Airborne School, Fort Benning, Ga.
  • U.S. Army Combat Divers School, Key West, Fla.
  • U.S. Navy Underwater Egress Training, Pensacola Naval Air Station, Fla.
  • U.S. Air Force Basic Survival School, Fairchild AFB, Wash.
  • U.S. Army Military Free Fall Parachutist School, Fort Bragg, N.C., and Yuma Proving Grounds, Ariz.
  • Paramedic Course, Kirtland AFB, N.M.
  • Pararescue Recovery Specialist Course, Kirtland AFB, N.M.

In 1999 Doran Was assigned to the 23rd STS. In 2001 Doran was sent to assist with rescue efforts at the Pentagon. In 2002 Doran was sent to Iraq where he assisted with the rescue of a SEAL team as well as helping with the extraction of several high priority targets. In 2003 Doran was transferred to the 31st RQS in Japan. In March of 2004 Doran Was sent to a Top Secret briefing for a mission to rescue American Pilots shot down in Antarctica. It was here that Doran first learned of the Stargate Program. When Doran returned to Japan He had orders to report to Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station for his new orders. From there Doran was sent to the U.S.S. Daedalus where he served until March 2005 when he was transferred to OTS on the recommendation of his commanding officer Col. Steven Caldwell. Upon completion Second Lieutenant Doran Kev reported back to the Daedalus and was assigned to the bridge crew. As part of his new responsibilities Doran was crossed trained on all bridge stations and trained to fly the F-302. Doran participated in several battles with the Wraith during his time on the Daedalus. In March 2009 Doran was transferred to the U.S.S. George Hammond where he served as the commanding officer of the search and rescue team. In October 2009 the U.S.S. Hammond were sent to the Icarus Base. It was during the rescue of personal from the Icarus base after an attack from the Lucian alliance that Doran demonstrated his command abilities. On the recommendation of Col. Carter Doran was transferred back to the SGC and assigned the position of Executive Officer aboard the U.S.S. Iliad the SGC’s newest battle cruiser. Since then, Capt. Kev has served as the first CO of a newly constituted SG-SOCOM team, the SG Shadow Hunters.

Maintains Expert rating on all NATO and Warsaw Pact small arms, as well as all current known weapons technologies obtained through Project: STARGATE.
