the same
VISAR radio with a bright red
LED installed on the front to
denote when an actor is
transmitting.
(as seen in many scenes where
the actor is holding the radio
in their hand.)
Unmodified Motorola VISAR radios
can be found nearly every day on
eBay for $75-$125 US.
* Any
small two-way radio may be used.
